Death on the Nile:

Newly engaged and madly in love couple Jacqueline de Bellefort and Simon Doyle have fallen on hard times. In order to afford getting married, and moreover pay for their planned honeymoon in Egypt, Jacqueline introduces Simon, who has just lost his job in the city, to her old school-friend Linnet Ridgeway in hope that Linnet might help to get him a job. Lord Edgware Dies:



Another case for Agatha Christie's famous Belgian creation. Back in business as a detective, Poirot is delighted to be reunited with his old partner in crime Hastings when the latter is forced to return from abroad. The little grey cells are soon twitching when, less than 24 hours after Poirot visits the cantankerous Lord Edgware to ask for a divorce on behalf of his wife, actress Jane Wilkinson, Edgware is found murdered. Jane is the main suspect, but - apparently smitten by her charm - Poirot sets out to prove her innocence.

Sixteen years before the action opens, Caroline Crale was charged with killing her husband, Amyas Crale, and no one doubted her guilt. She was duly tried and convicted, and died in prison while serving life, so the case was looked on as closed. But then, in the present day, Caroline's daughter Lucy Crale (who has been living overseas) receives a letter her mother wrote her before her death, claiming to be innocent. Mystery Of The Blue Train:



Poirot meets the beautiful Katherine Grey in a London restaurant and agrees to keep her company on a journey on the Blue Train to the south of France. Katherine has recently inherited a lot of money and has been invited to visit some relations there, but she feels socially intimidated. Also on the train is Ruth Kettering, the daughter of the American oil tycoon Rufus van Aldin, not to mention the husband Ruth has just left (Derek Kettering) and also her lover - but Ruth gets brutally killed on the train, and her famous ruby is stolen. Later, Katherine Grey survives a murderous attack. Luckily, Poirot is on hand to solve the mysteries.

After The Funeral:



Richard Abernethie dies suddenly. When his family gathers for the reading of the will, his sister Cora Gallaccio claims Abernethie was murdered, but the rest of the family won't believe it. The next day Cora is herself killed with an axe, and the family solicitor sends for Poirot.

Murder On The Orient Express:

The Belgian detective Hercule Poirot boards the Orient Express. One of the passengers requests his protection, but Poirot declines. The next day the passenger is found dead in his compartment and Poirot is asked to solve the case. The train is forced to stop due to a snow drift blocking the tracks. This gives him a few hours to figure out the murderer's identity before the local police take over the investigation. During his investigation, Poirot discovers that many of the passengers have some connection to a 5 year old case where an infant was kidnapped and murdered in which the mastermind escaped prosecution. This lead to the death (during childbirth) of the mother and the suicide of her father. This could be the vital clue to crack the case, but can he do it in time?
